Massage is beneficial in aiding relaxation, stress reduction and in helping ease muscular aches and pains. Massage will help soothe nerves and ease tension. It aids in the toning of muscles, improves circulation and stimulates and benefits each of the body’s complex systems (e.g. the lymphatic system).
Each massage is individually tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. For example – pre/post exercise regimes, pain relief or stress management. Let us also be clear, this massage service does not include ‘personal extras’ such as intimate massage, so please do not embarrass yourself, or us by asking.

AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils, extracted from herbs, flowers and woods from around the world, sustainably. They bring about a balanced state of physical and emotional well-being. Essential oils are absorbed into the blood stream through the skin or through inhalation. They are natures healing tools that can be used to restore and maintain the compete health and balance between mind, body and spirit.
An aromatherapy massage combines the benefits of an ordinary massage – relaxation and toning of muscles – with the therapeutic effect of essential oils. Absorption and inhalation of these oils can help combat stress related conditions both physical and emotional. In addition, many physical symptoms can be alleviated – such as insomnia, muscular tension, PMS, menopausal disorders and poor immune systems.

REIKI HEALING
Reiki is a Japanese word for universal life force energy. A Reiki treatment is a very gentle therapy. The practitioner lightly places both hands on the person receiving Reiki and lets this life force energy flow to wherever it is needed with the intention of restoring harmony and balance.
Reiki is carried out with the recipient fully clothed. Some people feel warmth or tingling, others my feel coolness from the touch. There is usually a feeling of deep relaxation as Reiki enhances our natural ability to let go of stress and heal ourselves.
Reiki is not a belief system or religion. It is an ancient healing art rediscovered in the 19th Century by Dr Usui. Anyone can receive and benefit from a Reiki treatment, all that is require is a wish to be treated.
Our Practitioners are all Reiki Masters and also inducted into the Mastership of Golden Light Healing.
GOLDEN LIGHT HEALING
When you talk about Reiki, most people have heard of it, or perhaps experienced it in some form; whether they have had a treatment or someone has ‘sent them healing’ with good intent.
Golden Light Healing is the next level in healing. Again, you do not have to believe or subscribe to a religion in order to receive Golden Light Healing.
This type of healing is at a slightly higher level of vibrational energy. It works faster than Reiki and very often the recipient can feel it, rather like waves crashing in on a beach – but far lovelier. The treatments are the same as Reiki, by being carried out with the recipient fully clothed. It can also be sent very effectively remotely. In fact it is the quickest form of healing to be sent ‘over’ the energy highway. It doesn’t matter where the person or situation is in the world, it can be sent over the universal speedway!
CARE ADVICE Prior to Treatment
It is beneficial to: Avoid eating a heavy meal.
Avoid drinking alcohol.
Shower prior to a massage, so that the skin is clear of other products, which may inhibit the absorption of oils.
Prior to having a face massage, it is advisable to have removed make up.
Home Care Advice
Following treatment it is important to: Drink several glasses of water to ensure that toxins released during treatment are flushed from the body.
Try to relax to maintain the calming benefits of the treatment.
General Advice
Aromatherapy, Massage therapy, Reiki Healing and Golden Light Healing are complementary to orthodox medicine and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
